Intro:
TV shows: The 100, Criminal Minds, Friends, Brooklyn 99, The Office, House, American Housewife, Shadow and Bone, and The Vampire Diaries. I also love to watch sports, and grew up watching football, basketball, and baseball with my dad!
Movies: The Greatest Showman, Soul, Cars, Inside Out, Moana, Frozen, The Fast and The Furious, Silence of the Lambs, 2 Hearts, The Hunger Games, Twister, Star Wars, and so many more I'm forgetting.
Food, drinks, and snacks: Anything BBQ, brisket, salad, pasta, tacos, seafood, Asian food, Italian food, Mexican food, and good old American cuisine. I also enjoy drinking coffee and sweet tea.
Hobbies and things to do: Writing, Instagram, Pinterest, Tik Tok, and drawing.
Sports and lifestyle: Weightlifting, swimming, hanging out with my friends and family, going to a fun party, or spending a day on the lake! I love going for drives into the country too.
Music: I've been told that I have particularly good taste in music, and I believe that is because of how many different genres I listen to! Country, rock, pop, alt-pop/rock, alternative, acoustic, and *some* hip-hop/rap. My all-time favorite artists across the genres are George Strait, Parker McCollum, Tenille Arts, Maren Morris, Kelsea Ballerini, Chris Stapleton, Brett Young, Morgan Wallen, Caitlyn Smith, Kacey Musgraves, Hailey Whitters, John Mayer, The Lumineers, Amy Shark, Lana Del Rey, Melanie Martinez. Interests: I want to be everything. I want to join the army, be a fashion designer, famous actress, a model, a country singer, doctor, lawyer, criminal profiler, and NASA ground control.
Realistically, I'll pursue modeling, singing, and possibly acting as hobbies! I'm currently preparing for two programs at my high school- sports med, and EMT training. I'm fascinated by the human and brain, and would love to do something with neurology. (Not a surgeon though.) My other interest is sports medicine! In college, I hope to be able to intern as a scribe, someone who shadows doctors in the emergency department and takes their notes for them (hence the name scribe) so that they can be more efficient in seeing patients. You get to see everything working there, and it can help you get a taste of what you might want to specialize in!
If that doesn't work, I'll go be a NASCAR driver or something. I'm mostly kidding :)

My name is Leigh! I'm a teen writer who enjoys working out, competitive swimming, reading, listening to music, going for drives, watching movies, and being social, among other things.
Apparently I'm real good at killing off everyone's favorite characters then rubbing in their faces. What can I say, I take pride in my work. CEO of thinking up story ideas while I'm trying to sleep. I'm a total country girl who's idea of the perfect date night includes stargazing in the bed of a pickup, and George Strait.
About my writing:
My two finished works are In the Midnight Blue and Among the Dark Stars.
Above the Infinite Ground is the final book in the Midnight Trilogy, with spin-off series and novellas coming. I'm currently rewriting and adding more to these books. The Infinite Midnight Universe will contain two trilogies and two with a stand-alone novel. The "stand-alone's", for lack of a better word, are still connected to the Infinite Midnight Universe. They just aren't a part of the trilogies, though relevant to the entire series.
I am also working on a high fantasy novel by the name of Nightrunner, perfect for Sarah J. Maas and Victoria Aveyard fans. In addition to Nightrunner, I've got a few other things in the drafts. Three are fantasy, with other elements included such as Wild West, steampunk, and a little bit of dystopian/apocalyptic. If you don't dig the genre blend, no worries! It's relatively subtle.
Those works are nowhere near being released, and are just fun projects to do as I work on The Midnight Trilogy. If you'd rather not read the old versions of In the Midnight Blue and Among the Dark Stars (rewrites coming!), then you can check out my other novel, Racing Lightning. Racing Lightning blends the realistic-fiction/action/mystery/crime/romance/adventure genres, and is perfect for fans of the Fast and The Furious, the movie Twister, and well as fans of the shows Criminal Minds and Brooklyn 99! It's more of a fun, lighthearted project, with lots of banter. I tend to update that every couple of weeks.
I hope to publish the Midnight Trilogy, and it's prequel, (a full-length novel!) before or during my freshman year of college, in a few years!
